Meet The Team
Our Podcast hosts are seasoned broadcast veterans who have hosted radio and television shows at some of the nation's biggest stations for the last several decades. They utilize their God given gifts to bring authentic and sometimes heart wrenching stories to our ever growing podcast audience.
Founder & Host
Ric worked in radio broadcasting in Seattle for nearly 40 years. A career that included dozens of interview opportunities with fascinating actors, musicians and athletes. From Bob Hope to Weird Al Yankovic Ric has shared a microphone and stories with some of the best. Now, as a re-committed Christian, re-baptized in 2013, he is uncovering the raw authentic Christian stories of some of the world’s outstanding performers. Ric joins a talent team of radio veterans hosting in-depth interviews with people you know on the “Amazing Greats” podcast.own text and edit me. It's easy.
Show producer and Host
As an air personality and production director he would interview over 100 artists including The Doobie Brothers, Billy Joel, The Pointer Sisters, Styx, Little River Band, and many more.
Later he would produce the # 1 morning news and personality show in Seattle. His career crown jewel was his role as production Director at "Kid Star", managing 6 studios and production creative content for a national audience of 8-12 year olds.
Today, Klem is a video and audio producer with a focus on Legacy Videos as well as a voice coach for aspiring talent.
Guest show host
His voice has been heard by hundreds of thousands of people as a premier voice talent on television, radio and even messages while “on hold”. As a radio host, Joe is known for his warmth and friendly personality on multiple stations over the past 30 years including Christian Station Spirit 105.3. Joe currently hosts his own Christian music weekly special on KCIS in Seattle.
In addition to his media work he is also a lector at “Our Lady of Fatima” church. You’ll see how Joe’s warmth shines through on every Amazing Greats interview.
After a 20 year span in mainstream music radio (by providence) a door opened at Seattle's #1 Christian Music station to do an afternoon show A music format he was only vaguely familiar with. He soon realized that when your faith and your work coincide, it has a profound impact on your life, and the lives you may touch through the magic of radio.
Larry’s interviewing skills at Spirit 105.3 grew as he met up with ‘just about everybody that’s anybody’ that creates songs of faith, hope, and love. He is the host of an annual Christian music countdown show and is the owner of Rainier Media Services in Seattle.

He’s been a deejay, newscaster, TV sports anchor, program director, radio salesman, recording studio manager, commercial narrator, NBA stadium announcer and ad agency owner. His broadcasting degrees are from Wheaton College and the University of Illinois. But his powerful contribution to the Kingdom of God has been heading up a decades long fellowship with broadcasters (and others) in a lunch time bible study called "His Deal" which continues to this daywith online live meet-ups ever pother week, at www.HisDeal.org
Guest Show Host
Greg Cook spent 40 years in radio on-air in Seattle-Tacoma, San Jose, and San Diego. In 1988, while working a popular morning show in San Jose, he was introduced to Steve Dini, a former TV weatherman. Steve invited him to his Bible study group that included other radio people. That fellowship was the spark that led ultimately, to a personal relationship with Jesus.
Over the years, Greg has interviewed a diverse cross-section of celebrities, including President Bill Clinton on Election Day 2000, San Diego Padres Hall-of-Fame Pitcher Trevor Hoffman, Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame inductee Smokey Robinson.
It was truly a God inspired gift that brought Tery Miles to our project. All the way from London England a random search turned up a this musical genius performing a totally awesome, totally unique version of "Amazing Grace. It was upbeat, lively and matched perfectly our show's personality.
After contacting Terry he booked time in a London Studio and created his "honky tonk" version of Amazing Grace for use as our theme song for the podcast. You can see his full story and the making of he song as one of the bonus episodes in our [odcast library.
