God is up to something among Generation Z. Young people at Asbury University and dozens of other college campuses across the country are experiencing a movement of love and connection with Jesus that has grabbed the attention of people around the world. Not unlike the Jesus movement of the 60s and 70s a youth revival seems to have taken shape. On this episode of Amazing Greats, Pastor Doug Hankins a theological revival historian, shares his unique perspective on this awakening by taking us on a day trip to Asbury in the midst of the recent revival. An event that grew organically out of a typical Chapel service on the Morning of February 8th 2023. An event that lasted over 300 hours and 16 days. It wasn't programmed or planned, it was not well produced and slick, there were no celebrity singers or guest speakers. It was a raw outpouring of God's grace where the X Factor was clearly the presence of Jesus.
