Comedian Nazareth: "Laughter for all"

In this episode, I sit down with clean comedian Nazareth, and his story is just incredible. He shares what it was like to truly hear “come as you are,” then give his life to Christ, and then makes that bold, Monday-morning decision to walk away from his old path and let God redefine his purpose.

What I really loved is how real our conversation gets about blending stand-up comedy with faith—without losing people in the process. He talks about earning the laughter first, then naturally sharing his testimony, whether he’s on a huge stage, in a corporate setting, or at a packed church.

And some of the stories…you can’t make these up. From a stage literally collapsing, to a tense moment that unexpectedly turned into a hug—it’s the kind of stuff that sticks with you. We also talk about why he still believes invitations and altar calls matter, which I found really powerful.

Oh—and at one point, he showed me a picture as “proof” that Jesus loves laughter too…which just kind of says it all.

Would love for you to check it out when you get a chance. I think it’ll encourage you—and hopefully give you a few good laughs along the way.
